The National African American Insurance Association was organized to create a network among people of color and others employed in or affiliated with the insurance industry. The Executive Director reached out to CMC as part of their rebrand initiative.
They recently commissioned a branding agency to complete their new brand design and messaging. We were asked to use the new brand aesthetic to develop a new website. The site would encapsulate their renewed focus on national partnerships and highlight the association’s unique value proposition for insurance professionals of color.
NOTE: This site is still under development.
Our main goal was to create a website that would be clean and professional, but not sterile. The website taxonomy (where information would live on the site) was also hugely important.
We partnered with our client to create a website map that not only makes sense for information flow, but also member experience-centric.
Their current site has over 400 pages. In this new design, we wanted to create an interactive website with personality – curating an enjoyable experience for website visitors. The new site uses accordions that help to minimize the scroll (especially on mobile) and tastefully incorporates their new brand aesthetic.
