At CMC, our mission is to cultivate authentic and captivating campaigns that lead to consistent and long lasting organic growth with impact for our clients. Our logo is a cactus because we are a resilient bunch. Birthed in the midst of a pandemic, and a time of seemingly scarce resources, our little engine that could has thrived. The Process.

The Process.
One of the most effective ways to convert passive supporters to paid clients is to get clear on what you actually offer. We help you gain clarity by getting answers to the three main questions:

We pride ourselves on being very intentional. That intentionality starts even before we sit down for a discovery meeting. 

Once you reach out to our team to schedule a discovery meeting, we will send a detailed prospective client survey for you to complete. 

We then take that information, and do our own digging. Our team literally gets in your business.

Our discovery meeting will most likely be at our offices, a creative shared working space in downtown Frisco. You’ll walk into a room with your company logo proudly presented on a television screen – that’s the presentation. 

Our discovery presentation typically has the following parts:

  • We ask you to tell your story
  • We ask more details about your current business goals and challenges
  • We talk about what we found and what our findings mean
  • We present a proposed solution to your current problems
  • Lastly, we give you a quick overview of our project flow and what to expect when working with us.

Following our meeting together, we’ll send a proposal to sign and an invoice to make your first payment. 

Once you’re officially a client, the fun officially starts. We’ll share a welcome packet and get you plugged into Slack, etc. 

Key step following your receipt of the welcome packet is the scheduling of your strategy session.

 

Your strategy session typically will last between 60-90 minutes. 

In preparation for your strategy session, we will send another questionnaire – this time with specific questions about your particular project. 

For branding clients, we create a Pinterest board with design inspirations that reflect conversations we’ve had up to this point. 

We will also start crafting your project brief. 

During the strategy session you will get:

  • A project brief (timelines may or may not need to be confirmed following the strategy session)
  • Design ideas 
  • Check list of things we need to complete your project 
  • Quick overview of how to use Slack 
  • Creative art direction for your project
  • Overarching strategy for your project

By the end of your strategy session you should know who is doing what, when, and (mostly) how. 

 

This is the fun part! While you get back to the business of doing business, we get busy on your project. 

We complete our projects in sprints, and your payments will be made when our team hits different milestones.

That way we continue a flow in the project, and each time you’re asked to pay, you get to see exactly what you’re paying for. It’s only fair. 

NOTE: Development does not begin without the receipt of all content to be included on the new site. We do this to ensure production integrity – we operate on a first come, first served basis. If you’re ready to go with your content, your site will be first in line and so on. 

 

We appreciate and prize collaboration with our clients, and nothing moves unless we’re in agreement.

Each milestone you’re not only asked for payment, we also want your feedback. That feedback is shared with our team and get right back at it to implement the requested changes.

 

It’s showtime!

Once we’ve gone through and checked all the boxes (we have a pre-launch check list that has tasks for both you and our team) it’s time to launch.

Your new branding design or website is ready for prime time.

 

We care deeply about the impact of the work we do, and that’s why we offer several in-house packages for support following the completion of our web design work.

If you’re just looking for hosting, we have you covered. If you want some edits or updates each month as part of that package, we can do that for you as well.

If you’d like to take your new site and use it as part of a full marketing effort – we have several services including email marketing that will help drive traffic back to key pages on your site.

For brand design projects, we have connections to phenomenal print houses, and sign companies that can help you use your new branding in exciting ways.

For websites, we have SEO partners we trust who can help you to leverage your new site for lead generation, etc.

Even after we’ve handed you the keys, we’re always here to help!
